What Happens During the Dental Bridge Procedure?
We first administer a local anesthetic to the area of the mouth receiving the bridge. The surrounding teeth will be filed down to a smooth foundation for the bridge itself. Impressions are taken and sent off for a new bridge to be made just for you. We then schedule a second appointment for you to come in and have the permanent bridge placed. You’ll go home from your first appointment with a temporary bridge in place. The permanent one is then adjusted and you’ll be ready to enjoy your brand new restoration.
